Alexis Brocchi is a curator, arts organizer, and artist based in Chicago. By conducting research as a creative practice, she explores accessibility of information and the search for knowledge through nontraditional methods. The connecting thread of her practice is a desire to investigate systems of ideas and how they affect the world we inhabit. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration with a minor in Art History from Columbia College Chicago. Through her practice, Brocchi aims to explore the intersection of art and science. She uses illustration, experimental poetry, and hand papermaking to interrogate the complexities of language and communication.  As a curator arts administrator, she values the importance of accessibility and the search for knowledge through collaborative and experimental methods.

Brocchi is currently the Exhibitor Relations Manager at EXPO CHICAGO, HATCH Curator in Residence at Chicago Artists Coalition, and Editorial and Curatorial Collaborator to Alfredo Cramerotti. Most recently, she curated As gesture at Chicago Artists Coalition.
